Ada Cakmakli is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Istanbul, currently studying music right here in Aarhus! This spring, Ada released her debut album "beastiarium," a passion project that draws its inspiration and influence from her observations on humanity and love in the world. She'll be joined on stage by her good friends and bandmates! The band features Ada Cakmakli on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Simon Melin and Tobias Ennemark on electric guitar, Sigurd Kjærside on electric bass, Sebastian Madsen on drums, Isak Sandvej on piano/synth, Caroline Valter on alto saxophone, and Dagmar Valter on violin. Lullablood: Lullablood combines jazz with folk, punk, and singer-songwriting, weaving together theatrical screams, performative awareness, and captivating lyrics. They play lullabies for young adults, with childlike melodies that capture your mind in that state between waking and sleeping. Through both carefully arranged passages and completely improvised sections, their music is simultaneously forgiving and challenging, inviting and exclusive.
