CARDIEL is a rock duo originally formed in Mexico City back in 2010 by drummer Samantha Ambrosio and guitarist/vocalist Miguel Fraíno. Their style is a killer blend of Skaterock, Sludge, and Psychedelic Dub! ➤ HQ opens: 19:00 ➤ Show starts: 20:00 ➤ Presale: 115 DKK + fee ➤ Tickets at the door: 140 DKK Samantha and Miguel, the masterminds behind Cardiel, have known each other since the late '90s from their hometown of Valencia, Venezuela. But it wasn't until they moved to Mexico that they started creating music for skateboarding videos. Then, in 2010, they decided to form the band for real and call it CARDIEL. In the band's early years, they played a ton of skateboard-related shows and competitions in cities all across Mexico. In 2011, they performed at several screenings of the documentary 'Piel Concreto,' produced by Vans México and directed by Nito Escalante, which portrays the origin and influence of skateboarding in Mexico. They were also part of the skateboard company 'Puro Gallo's' "Pacifico Tour," playing at classic skate and surf spots along the Mexican Pacific coast to promote and spread the skate culture. In 2017, the band was invited to join Thrasher Magazine's iconic "Skate Rock" tour in Mexico. An epic crew of over 30 people, including professional skateboarders, filmmakers, photographers, and bands, toured various Mexican cities under the leadership of Thrasher Magazine's editor-in-chief, the legendary 'Jake Phelps'. Additionally, CARDIEL has played at events like the '30th Anniversary of Thrasher Magazine' (2012, Mexico), 'Brixton 50w Baja' (2024, Costa Mesa, CA), and 'Big Trouble in Little 5 Points' (2023, Atlanta, GA). NÖKS: The Sønderborg-based duo NÖKS—made up of Thomas S. Jessen and Ebbe Hansen—is a duo formed in 2024. Their musical universe is born from the 90s sound of bands like Melvins, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Nirvana. NÖKS has strong ties to stoner rock and psych, resulting in a glorious mess of alternative rock. Their lyrics explore mental states, twisted love, and everything in between. You'll feel their conviction as they drag you through their uncompromising wall of sound in a live performance bursting with intensity and energy!
