Om dette arrangement

On Saturday, September 19th, the HeadQuarters basement gets a visit from the hard-hitting blackened death metallers from Crocell! As support, they're bringing Roskilde's pride in the Oldschool Death Metal genre: Deadflesh. ➤ HQ opens: 19:00 ➤ Concert starts: 20:00 ➤ Presale: 85 kr. ➤ Door: 100 kr. ➤ HQ DJs: 23:00 - 05:00 (after midnight, entry is 40 kr. incl. wardrobe) Crocell: "It's certainly the venues' loss if they let the chance for a visit from a band of this caliber pass them by. Wild, violent, and well-executed." That's how heavymetal.dk concluded a review of a concert with the death/black metal band Crocell in 2021, aligning themselves with countless reviewers and concert-goers over the years. Playing live has always been the most important thing for Crocell, and classics like "My Path of Heresy" and "Cross to Your Grave" have been blowing audiences away across most of Europe since the late 00s. When Crocell was formed in Aarhus in 2007 by experienced members of the Danish metal scene, it didn't take long for the band to make a name for themselves. In 2008, Crocell won "Metal Talent of the Year" at the Danish Metal Awards, and their debut album had barely been released before Gaffa wrote that Crocell was on their way to "becoming the new pitch-black stars on the Danish metal horizon." After a few lineup changes in the 2010s, Crocell's music gradually changed character, adopting a darker, more black metal-influenced expression compared to the band's death metal origins. With their latest album, "Swarm of Insects," Crocell takes another step deeper into black metal, while continuing to balance brutality, atmosphere, and melody. Deadflesh: Roskilde's pride in the Oldschool Death Metal genre, Deadflesh, has kept their style pure and consistently brutal throughout the years. Their music is heavily inspired by their role models, the legendary band Bolt Thrower, with vibes of early Six Feet Under, Obituary, and even Autopsy here and there. The harsh, guttural vocals and heavy-hitting instruments stand out clearly and guarantee an intense live experience. While the music is apocalyptic, the lyrics distinguish themselves by dealing with War, Conflict, and other tragedies that best describe the innermost nature of humanity. Don't miss out on getting acquainted with this band that has carried the torch of brutality high since its inception in 1994.
