HeadQuarters presents an evening with two fast-rising rock bands, Gaslight from Copenhagen and Dårlige Råd from Aarhus. With a wall of guitars, a thunderous low-end, and intense live energy, the band pulls the audience into an emotional soundscape where reality bends and distorts. The band formed in 2015 when childhood friends Magnus, Christoffer, and Jeppe started playing together as teenagers in a small rural district. Here, music became an escape from the alienation and claustrophobia they experienced—and a path towards something bigger. Today, Gaslight consists of bass, guitar, and drums, expanded with guitarist and backing vocalist Lucca Maria, Christoffer's sister. Her guitar and vocal harmonies add new layers to the band's noisy universe, while the raw energy and their tight-knit bond remain at the core of Gaslight. Dårlige Råd: Bad advice comes in many forms—overhyped self-help books, an Instagram guru's call to buy cryptocurrency, and the Aarhus-based garage-rock trio Dårlige Råd. But in this whole questionable group, there's only one thing you can't do without. Dårlige Råd dominates the stage with a blistering pace and confrontational lyrics, wrapped in a hurricane of raw bass, dirty guitar, and thundering drums that leave the audience with no choice but to get swept away. After a debut year that saw them play Urban 13, Sydhavnens Festival, Vibstock Festival, Café Støj, Walthers Musikcafé, headline Kasernefestival, and even the City of Aarhus's New Year's briefing, there's only one way for Dårlige Råd to go, and that's up. Their explosive energy can be experienced on the band's debut EP, "Ingen Mad Kun Lort" (No Food Only Shit), which dives into various forms of misery with undeniable charm and raw energy, leaving the listener with one conclusion: Dårlige Råd is everything you didn't know you wanted, but also aren't sure you need.
