Powerplant: Powerplant has come a long way – from rocking out in a bedroom to hitting hard on the world stage, cementing their status from the very beginning with catchy music and eye-catching art. PP, the solo project of Ukrainian-born, London-based Theo Zhykharyev, is characterized by its dizzying bass, sizzling synth lines, and melancholic vocal hooks. From the lo-fi synth-punk of their 2019 breakthrough debut 'People in the Sun' to the instrumental dungeon-synth release 'Stump Soup' in 2022 and the kaleidoscopic 'Grass' EP (2023), to last year's 80s rock explorations on the moody 'Crashing Cars' 7" and the Michael Mann-inspired 'Heat' EP. Powerplant's latest project is their second album, 'Bridge of Sacrifice' – a fun, black metal-infused journey through all things heavy and gothic. Chavs: Danish-language protopunk from Northern Denmark. The Chavs are celebrating ten years of tearing it up all over Denmark, on streets and in alleys. Over time, they've released two full-length albums, two singles, and made a wealth of appearances on various compilations. The trio has shared the stage with the likes of De Høje Hæle, PJ Bonnemann, Orcas, De Underjordiske, FYR, Pleaser, Fribytterdrømme, Baby Jesus, Smertegrænsens Toldere, Tazer, and many (many) more. Expect cheeky, hands-on garage rock, served right at eye level.
