Om dette arrangement
Aarhus's very own instrumental avant-garde rock trio, Karambolage, released their album SKÆLMSK on January 16, 2026 – an honest, uncompromising, and playful follow-up to their debut record, Prås (2023). ➤ HQ Opens: 19:00 ➤ Concert Starts: 20:00 ➤ Pre-sale: 100 DKK ➤ Door: 125 DKK ➤ HQ DJs: 23:00 – 05:00 (from 00:00 – 40 DKK incl. wardrobe) Karambolage: As the title suggests, SKÆLMSK is both audacious and serious. The music has a wry smile, but it bites hard. It plays with expectations, with rhythm, with things that almost repeat but never quite do. Karambolage navigates between avant-garde post-rock, explosive desert rock, dissonant jazz, and progressive doom. Live, Karambolage is known for their intense, dynamic interplay without a safety net, and they've made their mark at SPOT Festival, Colossal Weekend, Vinterjazz, and as support for Aiming For Enrike and Astrosaur. Dancer: Driven by a newfound curiosity and an urge to challenge their own forms of expression, Dancer met up for two days of recording in a summer house in Northern Jutland. The result is a marvelous blend of Nordic tones, dusty krautrock, and explosive free jazz. Eclectic yet extremely focused, the trio's references flow undauntedly across time and space, converging into a pumping reservoir of musical ideas. I Just Came From The Moon: After a four-year hiatus, I Just Came From The Moon is making a brief return for this special evening. The band is known for uniting the heartfelt fragility of jazz with a modern, indie-influenced sound. Their music moves between Nordic melancholy and luminous horn sounds, where clear melodies gradually open up into more abstract passages. The concert will draw from the band's repertoire from the releases Ånd Ud (2022) and National Strangers Association (2018), reinterpreted with fresh inspiration and renewed energy.
