La Sécurité (Montréal/Tiohtià:ke) is a collective whose art-punk is an electrifying mix of bouncing beats, quirky arrangements, and minimalist melodic hooks, all run through an insomnia filter from overexposure to the city's neon lights. ➤ HQ opens: 19:00 ➤ Show starts: 20:00 ➤ Pre-sale: 100 DKK + fee ➤ Door: 140 DKK La Sécurité's music is all about living dangerously, perfectly content to get blown away on the dance floor, while their lyrics share the ethos of the Riot Grrrl movement, celebrating female empowerment, friends (naughty and nice), and goodwill. Since forming in the spring of 2022, they've been invited to perform at notable events like SXSW, End of the Road, The Great Escape, and Reeperbahn, and have also toured with The Go! Team (2024) and The Rapture (2025). Following the release of their 2024 Polaris Music Prize-listed debut album ‘Stay Safe!’, the five-piece released the singles ‘Detour’ and ‘Ketchup’, paving the way for a new wave of DIY sonic gems—this time in collaboration with Simon Raymonde's landmark British imprint, Bella Union. From there, this motley crew continues to wander the fringes of punk, new wave, and krautrock, playfully ditching stylistic molds every chance they get, with their second album, ‘Bingo!’, released on June 12, 2026, via Bella Union (Worldwide) and Mothland (Canada/USA).
