Om dette arrangement
Alpaca Red, Flokk, and LARM are joining forces for an incredible triple-header concert in Aarhus! Three bands, three different sonic universes, all rooted in folk music, each in their own unique way. ➤ HQ Doors: 19:00 ➤ Show Starts: 20:00 ➤ Presale: 100 DKK ➤ At the door: 120 DKK ➤ HQ DJs: 23:00 - 05:00 (From midnight - 40 DKK incl. wardrobe) Kicking off the evening is Alpaca Red. This is the project of Nikolai Kjeldager Ryan, a Danish-New Zealander artist and frontman for the indie band Little Winter, who have graced the stages of SPOT Festival and Uhørt Festival and reached up to 43,000 monthly listeners. With Alpaca Red, Nikolai returns to more personal music that he writes and produces himself, navigating a field between folk, rock, indie, and bedroom pop, with roots in the songwriting tradition he inherited from his country musician father. The debut single "Konnichiwa" marks the start of a project that shifts between simple and classic song structures, which Nikolai is currently expanding on with a forthcoming EP. Flokk continues the night. The duo, Jonas Dammeyer and Anders Amundsen, operates in a Nordic soundscape where the organic and the electronic melt together, and where the songs attempt to capture moments that would otherwise vanish. With roots in acoustic expression and a shared fascination for folk music, Flokk creates songs that feel alive and handcrafted. They recently released the single "Kender Dem Ikke" (I Don't Know Them), a song about daring to meet the unknown with curiosity. LIVE, the ambition is to create a feeling of togetherness, letting the music pull the audience in and allowing them to become part of the flock. LARM will close out the concert. The band—consisting of Lasse, Andreas, Rasmus, and Mads, who have played together since childhood—draws parallels to Peter Sommer, Folkeklubben, and APHACA, delivering Danish-language, emotional, and surging indie folk-pop. LARM just won the OPKOMMER: Country & Folk award and, with the band PATINA as a sparring partner, has prepared their upcoming album "Du er fri" (You Are Free), which explores the tension between community and loneliness. Live, the lineup expands to five musicians, with room for both the quiet and the roaring, as heavy synths meet searing guitars and massive singalongs that will leave your heart pounding. LARM currently has three singles out, all leading up to their upcoming album.
