The music ebbs and flows with glimpses of serenity amidst a sea of deep, sweeping soundscapes. The duo works completely improvised, drawing inspiration from rock, free jazz, and world music, following their gut instincts. Tegn is Magnus Munk Tækker and Jens Højbøge Mosegaard. Christoph Götzen (DE): Christoph Götzen's music is guided by an intuitive yet precise artistic voice. He explores sound in ways that align with the free-spirited nature of improvised and contemporary music. His work spans a broad spectrum, from solo guitar performances to large ensembles. Collaboration, synthesis, and a perpetually curious approach are central elements of his creative process, forming a musical identity that is both distinct and constantly evolving. With improvised music as his foundation, he continuously develops and engages with a wide range of materials, including composition, conducting, and collective creation. Angel: Angel, the new band featuring Ellen Marie Yde Kjær, Robin Døssing Bendixen, and Jakob Vinner, is all about soundscapes, blocks, lines, and disharmony moving forward. They have worked with each other across a multitude of bands from Aarhus. This wind trio explores and pushes boundaries, while also playing within the format. It is the sound of the new, the journey there, and a place we're not going back to.
