Om dette arrangement

Movement Shaped Like a Heart presents an incredible evening with the experimental 'alt-pop' rock band Loomer, and the new improvisational constellation, Claire Dickson, Marius Wankel & Halfdan Magnus Stefansson. ➤ HQ opens: 7 PM ➤ Show starts: 8 PM ➤ Presale: 80 DKK ➤ At the door: 100 DKK Loomer: Loomer is the Aarhus-based project of Signe Jacobsen and Bjørg Jessen. Loomer invites you into a sonic universe born from an intuitive and curious joy for exploring different aesthetics, genres, and forms. With elements of modern alt-pop, singer/songwriting, and 90s indie rock, their music combines the electronic and the acoustic, unfolding from an unpolished and playful place. The music can be both loud and expressive or quiet and introverted—always striving to capture an organic quality that reflects the musicians they are. Claire Dickson, Marius Wankel & Halfdan Magnus Stefansson: This new constellation is a collaboration between three incredible musicians. All three are songwriters and improvisers, and each brings a very different meaning to those labels. After a concert and their first meeting at the Berlin concert series Future Bash last December, they all felt the music they could create together had immense potential and decided to keep going. This June, they are playing three more concerts as a band—in Berlin, Copenhagen, and right here in Aarhus—and will also be heading into the studio to record. Get ready for a sound that blends the dreamy, poetic vocals and electronics of Claire Dickson (based in Berlin, previously Brooklyn) with the self-taught, atmospheric noise-guitar of Halfdan Magnus Stefansson (Copenhagen). It's all held together by the grounded, yet intangible drumming of Marius Wankel (of the Berlin avant-garde scene) to create music built on fragile, intimate, and thoughtful songs. This music is new and incredibly special to them, and they can't wait to share it with you.
