This seasoned Aarhus quartet plays sleazy downer-rock, inspired by the 70s Detroit scene – think MC5, Death, and Sonic's Rendezvous Band; blended with early hardcore punk like Hüsker Dü and Dead Kennedys, as well as Miles Davis's electric excursions. “Motorsnav” celebrates both the bliss of psychopharmaceuticals and the failed, drunken, deceased Finnish ski jumper Matti Nykänen. The album also circles around trippy thin ice. It's about the damp and the kinky. And about looking away from your own pathetic collection of cuts. "A lost and angry lament," "hard and boundary-pushing," and "catchy punk bangers from another world," were just some of the things Passive/Aggressive wrote about Rådne Lunger's debut album from 2021.
