Ria Qvist is a one-of-a-kind new voice on the Danish music scene, where modern rhythmic choral music meets pop, folk, powerful songwriting, and virtuosic acoustic guitar playing. With an intimate lyrical universe inspired by artists like Guldimund and Søren Huss, she crafts concert experiences filled with both depth and intensity. Since her debut single in April 2025, she has won North Jutland Artist of the Year 2025, shared the stage with Lis Sørensen, and received honorary awards from The Royal Academy of Music Denmark. She has performed for thousands at 'Fredagsfest' in Aalborg, played at Aalborg Kultur og Kongrescenter, Vodskov Church, Spillestedet Thy/ Det Nordatlantiske Fyr, and The Tall Ships Races 2026. Ria Qvist's approach to music has attracted a ton of attention, including radio interviews, glowing reviews in Danish music magazines, and plenty of radio airplay.
