The Preachers are a duo from Copenhagen who, with the fuzz pedal floored and riffs that stick to your brain, play a razor-sharp brand of garage rock that brings to mind numerous bands from the American West Coast. It's loud and it'll warm you right up! Over the past few years, besides playing countless shows, The Preachers have released the EP ‘Gateway Dreams’, recorded a live session, and won the legendary ‘Vesterbro Championship in Rock.’ Energy is the focus when The Preachers play live, and you’re guaranteed a full-throttle concert. Wailing Dunes: Wailing Dunes will immerse you in the occult, the mysterious, and the obscure, all within the framework of a precise rock arrangement. In the clash between the energetic and the thoughtful, the experience culminates in a captivating live show. In the midst of a resounding darkness, they focus sharply on the facets of light. This theatrical folk-noir constellation springs from frontman Sejer Villadsen's melancholic and mythological lyrical universe. The music is carved out in close collaboration with an exceptionally tight live band, consisting of skilled musicians, each from their own branch of music. Their latest release, “Eternity Blues,” shakes up eternity in a refreshing flirtation with Blues Rock. The Basement Projects: The Basement Projects is an Aalborg-based crossbreed of rock genres and sources of inspiration—a creative sanctuary for racing thoughts, impulses, and the desire to try something new. Many years of musical experience have been boiled down to a strong and concentrated essence, resting on the fundamental elements of the timeless late '60s sound. With a certain devil-may-care attitude, they create an immediate and raw universe that picks the lock to personal and vulnerable lyrics, which sarcastically find their way through repressed daddy issues, neglected friendships, past love affairs, and personal struggles with alcohol and stress.
